01Who is responsible for your data
Trivedi Mechlab, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). For any privacy question or request, use the contact page.
02What we collect
- Contact details you type into a form: name, email and, if you give it, phone number.
- Your request: messages, design briefs, print options, and the files you upload (3D models, sketches, photos, PDFs).
- Order details once you buy: delivery address, payment reference (UTR) and payment screenshot.
- Technical data: your IP address, kept briefly to stop spam and abuse, and, only if you agree to analytics cookies, anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics.
03Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, design and print your order, deliver it, confirm payment and keep the records the law requires. You give consent by sending a form; we use the data only for the purpose you sent it for.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and we never sell or rent personal data.
05Your files
Uploaded files are stored privately, never on a public link, and only the studio can open them. Images are re-saved on upload to remove hidden metadata such as GPS location. Model files from quotes that do not become an order are deleted automatically after 30 days; files from completed orders are deleted 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep them for repeat orders.
06How long we keep the rest
Enquiries and design briefs are kept while the conversation is active and for up to two years after, so we can answer follow-up questions. Payment records and receipts are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
07Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or complete it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it for a legal reason;
- withdraw consent you gave earlier;
- nominate someone to act for you.
To make a request or a complaint, use the contact page. We reply within 1 working day and act on the request within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
09Children
The site is not meant for children under 18 to use on their own. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to send the request for you.
10Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. For a change that affects how we use data you already gave us, we ask again.
