A design and print studio in Ahmedabad
Trivedi Mechlab is a product design and FDM 3D printing studio in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We design parts in CAD, print them on our own machines in PLA, PETG and ABS/ASA, and ship them across India. The studio works online: you send a file or an idea, and a person replies within 1 working day.
A print farm takes a file and returns plastic. We read the file first. Most printing problems are design problems that show up late: a wall a little too thin, a hole that closes up, an overhang that sags, a clip that snaps the first time it is used. Catching them before the printer starts is cheaper for everyone.
So the studio does both jobs under one roof. The person who prices your file can also change it, and the person who models your part knows what the printer will do with it. That is the whole idea, and it is why the name has “lab” in it.
The first print should be close to the last.
Design.
Every part starts in CAD: the load it carries, the hand that holds it, the tolerance it needs. We design for the machine that will make it, so the model already knows its print orientation, its wall thickness and where the supports go. If you bring a sketch or a broken part instead of a file, this is where your job starts. See custom design.
Prototype.
Then it becomes a thing you can hold. We print on Creality FDM machines in PLA, PETG or ABS/ASA, one layer at a time. You test it, mark it up, and we change the model and print again. Each revision is priced within 1 working day. See rapid prototyping.
Automate.
Then it moves. Gears, jigs, housings and brackets that work together are designed as a system, each part printed in the material its job needs, and checked together before they ship. For repeat parts, see bulk orders.
A straight answer before you pay.
A reply within 1 working day. Dispatch in 1–3 working days once a job is paid. A straight answer when a part will not print well, before you pay for it. Prices in rupees, paid by UPI or bank transfer, with a receipt for every payment.
We are not registered for GST yet, so our prices carry no GST and our receipts are payment receipts, not tax invoices. That changes when we register, and this page will say so.

Who checks the words.
Some drafts on this site are written with the help of AI tools. Every fact, number and photo is checked by the studio before it is published, and figures we have not measured ourselves are marked as general values.
